as those who have been visiting our website for some time know, MedArabNews aims at describing the Mediterranean and Arab-Islamic reality directly through the media of these countries, that are so close to us, and at the same time so poorly understood, and interpreted through the distorted lens of prejudice.
We strive to bring to our readers the point of view of the people directly involved, going straight to the local newspapers, books, blogs and enriching this material with op-eds commentary, analysis, and interviews.
Our small editorial staff does not benefit from financial aid or sponsors. If on one hand this makes us completely independent from external influences, on the other it makes it very difficult to maintain the activities of such a specific product, especially in a general situation of crisis and uncertainty for independent media.
For these reasons we have decided to ask you to support us with a contribution of the amount that you deem our service be worthy, allowing us to continue our activity in an independent manner, giving us the responsibility to respond only to our readers.
